Reminders:

  • All Opti, Feva & Laser classes require the sailor to have his /her own boat or rent one

  • All sailors must have on file Rocky Liability and Medical Release form

  • All junior sailors are required to have a membership in the Long Island Junior Sailing Association at the cost of $75 for the first child, $100 for two children, and $125 for three or more children. These fees will be billed to your Rocky account.

  • Parents are responsible for transporting sailboats to regattas that can't be reached by towing on water (e.g., Larchmont).

    • Optis: Fit in the car trunk or on the roof.

    • Fevas: Must be towed on a trailer, requiring a tow-capable car (with hitch, electric hookup, etc.) and an experienced driver.

    We are considering an optional paid towing service and will provide updates as soon as available.
